It’s something we see all the time.  Women walk into our boutique impeccably styled—hair done, makeup polished, outfits thoughtfully chosen. Time, money, and care have gone into the look they present to the world. And then comes the moment we step into the fitting room… and underneath it all is the saddest bra imaginable.

Even more surprising?  Finding out that she only has one bra that she wears every day!!  For everything.

I’ll never forget a moment at a doctor’s office when I was asked to remove my blouse. I happened to be wearing a pretty red bra—nothing elaborate, nothing new. Just a well-fitting, well-made everyday bra that had supported me faithfully for quite some time.

The woman assisting me had a reaction I’ll never forget.

Her face lit up.  She stopped what she was doing and exclaimed how much she loved my bra. She wanted to know where I bought it. What brand it was. How it fit so well.

What could have been an awkward, uncomfortable moment instantly became light, fun—even empowering.  I felt like a bit of a rock star in my red bra.

And what shocked her the most wasn’t just the color—it was the fact that it fit me so well.
